BACTICLEAN RTU DISINFECTANT is a 1/64 strength ready to use version of Bacticlean 64 which has been independently tested and shown to kill (AOAC Use-Dilution Test):

Virus performance:
Bacticlean 64 is effective against HIV-1, Vaccinia (Pox virus), Herpes Simplex Type 1 and Type 2, Influenza A/Brazil Virus on inanimate environmental surfaces at a 10 ml/L use dilution. At 64 ml/L use-dilution, Bacticlean 64 is effective against Adenovirus Type 5.

Bacticlean 64 is a one-step disinfectant cleaner that is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria. It kills HIV-1 and Influenza A, is fungicidal and inhibits the growth of mold and mildew and their odours when used as directed. Bacticlean 64 delivers non-acid disinfectant and cleaning performance in an economical formula. It can be used with a mop and bucket, trigger spray, sponge or by soaking. Bacticlean 64 meets AOAC efficacy standards for hospital disinfectants and hard surface sanitizers. It is effective in hard water of up to 400ppm hardness, calculated as CaCO3, in the presence of 5% serum contamination.

Bacticlean 64 may be used in hospitals, medical and dental offices, nursing homes, day care centers, nurseries, restaurants, bars, cafeterias, institutional kitchens, convenience stores, crime  ccenes, food storage areas, institutional and public facilities, public rest rooms, schools, athletic facilities, camp grounds, play grounds, transportation terminals, hotels and motels, factories, business and office buildings, boats, ships, campers, trailers, mobile homes, cars, buses, trains, taxis, airplanes. It is also a disinfectant and sanitizer for Veterinarian, Animal care and  agricultural applications. Bacticlean 64 is effective against Avian Influenza Virus, Avian Infectious Bronchitis virus, Pseudorabies virus, Canine Distemper virus, Newcastle’s Disease virus.
Bacticlean 64 can be used in food processing establishments as a no-rinse sanitizer in food contact applications (follow local by-laws). For non-food contact surfaces Bacticlean 64 is an effective one-step cleaner sanitizer. Bacticlean 64 is safe to use on virtually all hard surfaces. It will not attack paintwork, plastics or metals. Bacticlean 64 is always used diluted with water making the costs of the “in use” solution economical. When used as directed, Bacticlean 64 will disinfect, clean and deodorize surfaces in rest rooms and toilet areas, behind and under sinks and counters, garbage cans and garbage storage areas and other places where bacterial growth can cause malodours, in one labour saving step.

Disinfection: To disinfect hard, non-porous surfaces (floors, walls, etc.) in hospitals, school, industry and nonmedical institutions, add 16ml of Bacticlean 64 to 1L of water. Apply diluted  solution to walls, floors and other hard, non-porous surfaces such as tables, chairs, countertops, sinks, tile, porcelain, and bed frames with a cloth mop so as to thoroughly wet surfaces. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 10 minutes. For heavily soiled areas, a preliminary cleaning is required. Fresh solution should be prepared daily or when the use solution becomes visibly dirty.

For sprayer applications, use a coarse mist pump or trigger sprayer. Spray 15-20 cm from surface, rub with brush, sponge or cloth. Do not breathe spray mist. At this use dilution, all surfaces that come into contact with food must be rinsed with potable water. Food and Dressing Plants and Hatcheries: For food plant disinfection, make a 16ml/L water solution and apply to hard, non-porous surfaces. In dressing plants, cover or remove all food and packaging materials. Remove all heavy soils. Disinfect equipment, utensils, walls and floors in poultry and dressing plants, as well as offal rooms, exterior walls and loading platforms. Saturate all surfaces and scrub to loosen all soils. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse all surfaces with potable water that have direct contact with food before operations resume. For poultry and swine premise disinfection, remove all animals and their feed from premises, trucks, coops and crates. Remove all litter, droppings and manure from floors, walls and other surfaces occupied or traversed by an animal. Empty all troughs, racks and other feeding and watering appliances. Thoroughly clean all surfaces with soap and detergent and rinse with water. Use 16ml of Bacticlean 64 for 1L water and saturate surfaces with this disinfecting solution for 10 minutes. Ventilate
buildings, coops and other closed spaces. Do not house animals or employ equipment until treatment has been absorbed, set or dried. Thoroughly scrub treated feed racks, troughs, automatic feeders, fountains and waterers with soap and detergent, and rinse with potable water before reuse. For hatcheries use a 16ml/L solution of Bacticlean 64
(1:64 ratio) to treat hatchers, settlers, trays, racks, carts, sexing tables and other hard surfaces. For delivery trucks and other vehicles (including mats, crates, cabs and wheels) clean with high pressure water and Bacticlean 64, set at a 1:64 ratio. Leave all treated surfaces wet for 10 minutes or longer.

Sanitization: At 4ml per 1L of water (200ppm) use Bacticlean 64 for sanitizing and cleaning of equipment and utensils in food processing, dairy industry, bars, restaurants, institutional kitchens, meat and poultry processing plants and farms. You do not need to rinse with water (follow local by-laws). For heavily soiled equipment or utensils prewash with Bacticlean 64, rinse with water, and then re-apply Bacticlean 64 with a cloth, mechanical spray device or by immersion. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 60 seconds. Allow to air dry. Prepare a fresh solution for every
use. DO NOT reuse mechanically applied use solution for sanitizing. No potable water rinse is required. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

Cleaning Process Dilution Rate: 
Disinfection – Active Quaternary: 800 ppm
Dilution – ratio = 1:64, Dilution – metric = 1L:16ML, Dilution – US = 2 oz per gal

Sanitise – Active Quaternary: 200ppm
Dilution – ratio = 1:256, Dilution – Metric =1L:4ML, Dilution – US= 1/2 oz per 2 gal

DESCALE NP

APPLICATION:

FOOD PROCESSING AND BEVERAGE PLANTS: For use as a disinfectant on hard surfaces (countertops, processing surfaces, walls and floors), make a solution using 20 ml of EZ Guard™ Chlorine 12 with 10 litres of water. This solution will have >200 ppm of available chlorine. The disinfectant must be in contact with the surface for 10 minutes. All surfaces that come into contact with food are to be rinsed with potable water after disinfection. AVOID CONTAMINATION OF FOOD.

HEALTH CARE FACILITIES AND FIRST AID ROOMS: For use as a disinfectant on hard surfaces (walls, floors, countertops), make a solution using 20 ml of EZ Guard™ Chlorine 12 with 10 litres of water. This solution will have >200 ppm of available chlorine. The disinfectant must be in contact with the surface for 10 minutes. All surfaces are to be rinsed or wiped off after disinfection.

LAUNDRY: Not for use as a laundry disinfectant. For use on hospital linens dilute 40 – 50 ml of EZGuard™ Chlorine 12 in 1 litre of water. This solution will have >4000 ppm of available chlorine. Add the dilution to wash water before adding laundry.

FLORAL LIQUID HAND SOAP

Mild skin cleanser.

Floral and Floral foaming are Liquid hand soap with a pleasant scent.  Gentle on the skin. We have a foaming and non-foaming versions. Contact us if you are interested in non-fragrance and or non-die version or bulk purchases.

Use: Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap. Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds.

Washing your hands correctly (or using an alcohol-based hand rub) is the most effective thing you can do to protect yourself against a number of infectious diseases, such as influenza (the “flu”) and the common cold. Not only will it help keep you healthy, it will help prevent the spread of infectious diseases to others.

Background

Even if your hands appear to be clean, they may carry germs. Hands pick up micro-organisms (germs) in a number of ways.

When people who are sick sneeze or cough, the germs that are making them sick are expelled into the air in tiny droplets. If these droplets get onto your hands, and then you touch your mouth, eyes or nose without washing away the germs, you carry the infection. You can also get sick if you don’t wash your hands before and after preparing food, after handling raw meat, and after using the toilet.

Washing your hands not only prevents you from getting sick, but it also reduces the risk of infecting others. If you don’t wash your hands properly before coming into contact with others, you can infect them with the germs on your hands. Other people can also get sick from the germs unwashed hands leave on shared objects like doorknobs, keyboards, and other equipment in the home or workplace.

How Hand Washing Reduces Health Risks

Hand-to-hand contact can spread mild conditions, such as the common cold, but also more severe or life-threatening diseases. Infectious diseases are a particular risk to the very young, the elderly, those with a pre-existing disease, and people with a compromised immune system, such as those with HIV or AIDS.

Proper Methods of Hand Washing

Although hand washing might seem like a simple task, you should follow these steps to thoroughly rid your hands of germs.

Using Soap

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Alcohol-based hand cleansers are useful when soap and water are not available. In most cases antibacterial soap is not necessary for safe, effective hand hygiene.
  • Remove any hand or arm jewellery you may be wearing and wet your hands with warm water. Add regular soap and rub your hands together, ensuring you have lathered all surfaces for at least 15 seconds. How long is 15 seconds? The length of time it takes to sing Happy Birthday.
  • Wash the front and back of your hands, as well as between your fingers and under your nails.
  • Rinse your hands well under warm running water, using a rubbing motion.
  • Wipe and dry your hands gently with a paper towel or a clean towel. Drying them vigorously can damage the skin.
  • Turn off the tap using the paper towel so that you do not re-contaminate your hands. When using a public bathroom, use the same paper towel to open the door when you leave.
  • If skin dryness is a problem, use a moisturizing lotion.

If you have sensitive skin or are in a position where you must wash your hands constantly (as a healthcare worker must), you might want to use an alcohol-based hand rub instead.

Using Alcohol-based Hand Rubs

  • An alcohol-based hand rub can be used if soap and water are not available.
  • If your hands are visibly soiled, it is best to use soap and water. If it’s not possible to wash with soap and water, use towelettes to remove the soil, then use an alcohol-based hand rub.
  • Use hand rubs according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Make sure your hands are dry, as wet hands will dilute the product.
  • Use enough product to cover all the surfaces of your hands and fingers.
  • Rub your hands together until the product has evaporated. If dry skin is a problem, use a moisturizing lotion.

Minimizing Your Risks

Here are further steps you can take to protect yourself and your family.

  • Wash your hands often, especially after coughing, sneezing or using tissues, before and after eating, before preparing food, after handling raw meat, after petting an animal, and after using the bathroom.
  • When you cough or sneeze, use a tissue or raise your arm up to your face and aim for your sleeve. Do not sneeze into your hand. Throw away tissues as soon as you use them
  • Keep the surface areas in your home and office free of germs by cleaning them. Doorknobs, light switches, telephones, and keyboards are especially important to keep clean.
  • If you have children, teach them good hygiene and how to wash their hands properly. Young children should be supervised while washing their hands.
  • If you use bar soap, keep it in a self-draining holder that can be cleaned thoroughly before a new bar is added.
  • Don’t use a single damp cloth to wash a group of children’s hands.
  • Don’t use a standing basin of water to rinse your hands.
  • Don’t use a common hand towel.
  • Don’t use sponges or non-disposable cleaning cloths unless you change them daily and launder them using detergent. Germs thrive on moist surfaces.

HAND SANITIZER

SANITIZER BLEND #1 is a thin 80% alcohol hand rub for refilling Hand Sanitizer dispensers. This Hand Sanitizer product is thin for use in squeeze bottles or spray applicators. This is based on public health published formulas and has an approved Health Canada NPN number. The 1Quart size with a spray trigger is very good for greeting customers who are entering your store with.

SANITIZER GEL is a thickened 70% alcohol gel for refilling Hand Sanitizer dispensers. This Hand Sanitizer product is thickened to use in dispensers, with a fresh peppermint fragrance (to mask the alcohol), light blue colour and extra skin conditioners to reduce skin irritation with repeated use.  Available in a fragrance-free option by request. This product is approved by Health Canada and has an NPN number.

Premix for Hand Sanitizer

 

We manufacture two NPN approved hand sanitizers. SANITIZER GEL and SANITIZER BLEND #1. This product is the same intermediate premix that we use to make our NPN approved SANITIZER BLEND #1. You mix this Blend with ethanol 20/80 v/v to create a version of the WHO Formulation #1. We are sharing this premix with distillers or other small ethanol manufacturers to help them respond quickly. It is important if you are blending hand sanitizer that you contact Health Canada and conform to all the regulations (as we do).

 

General information: Dimachem pivoted quickly to produce SANITIZER GEL in response to the COVID-19 crisis. We have committed two shifts and allocated all raw materials to existing customers/demand for our Sanitizer Gel product.  Our goals are to sell directly to local industrial or commercial end-users who need the SANITIZER GEL to keep open their essential services businesses. We respectfully request that companies that are looking to repackage and/or resell look to source your materials elsewhere until such time as our capacity increases to meet the direct end-user demand.

We received a licence on March 25th, 2020 from Health Canada, Natural and Non-prescription Health Products Directorate to produce this product. Site licence number: COV0023.

Washing your hands correctly (or using an alcohol-based hand rub) is the most effective thing you can do to protect yourself against a number of infectious diseases, such as influenza (the “flu”) and the common cold. Not only will it help keep you healthy, it will help prevent the spread of infectious diseases to others.

Background

Even if your hands appear to be clean, they may carry germs. Hands pick up micro-organisms (germs) in a number of ways.

When people who are sick sneeze or cough, the germs that are making them sick are expelled into the air in tiny droplets. If these droplets get onto your hands, and then you touch your mouth, eyes or nose without washing away the germs, you carry the infection. You can also get sick if you don’t wash your hands before and after preparing food, after handling raw meat, and after using the toilet.

Washing your hands not only prevents you from getting sick, but it also reduces the risk of infecting others. If you don’t wash your hands properly before coming into contact with others, you can infect them with the germs on your hands. Other people can also get sick from the germs unwashed hands leave on shared objects like doorknobs, keyboards, and other equipment in the home or workplace.

How Hand Washing Reduces Health Risks

Hand-to-hand contact can spread mild conditions, such as the common cold, but also more severe or life-threatening diseases. Infectious diseases are a particular risk to the very young, the elderly, those with a pre-existing disease, and people with a compromised immune system, such as those with HIV or AIDS.

Proper Methods of Hand Washing

If you have sensitive skin or are in a position where you must wash your hands constantly (as a healthcare worker must), you might want to use an alcohol-based hand rub instead.

Using Alcohol-based Hand Rubs

  • An alcohol-based hand rub can be used if soap and water are not available.
  • If your hands are visibly soiled, it is best to use soap and water. If it’s not possible to wash with soap and water, use towelettes to remove the soil, then use an alcohol-based hand rub.
  • Use hand rubs according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Make sure your hands are dry, as wet hands will dilute the product.
  • Use enough product to cover all the surfaces of your hands and fingers.
  • Rub your hands together until the product has evaporated. If dry skin is a problem, use a moisturizing lotion.
